The lights of the
Las Vegas Strip aren’t going to be the only things
shining in the desert this year.
After the resounding
success of Affiliate Summit 2004, Las Vegas seemed
like a natural place to host some of the world’s
biggest affiliate-related talent for a four-day
getaway into the bright lights, big city of Las
Vegas, Nevada.
Attendants of last
year’s Affiliate Summit 2004 are probably already
drooling and getting their bags packed. It’s not
surprising, considering the amount of talent and
industry connection to be made at this kind of event,
which just might be the perfect way for anyone interested
in affiliate marketing as a full-time job to really
give their business a kick in the pants and get
going.
2004 Summit an
Amazing Success
Affiliate Summit 2004
was set on a cruise ship that sailed from New York
City to Nova Scotia, Canada and back over the course
of four days. Why not Caribbean bound, you ask?
Simple. Organizers felt that if the
weather was lousy everyone would be more inclined
to stay indoors and focus on business rather than
being out and enjoying beautiful South Pacific sunshine.
With northern Atlantic weather being what it is,
organizers felt that it would be the perfect way
to make sure all those affiliate marketers showed
up to the conference lectures and kept them there.
The plan worked perfectly.
According to the numbers from the Affiliate Summit
2004, most lectures were standing room only, meaning
that although people who came to the Summit weren’t
getting the tan they might have hoped for, they
were definitely getting more than their money’s
worth in education.
Bringing in top talent
in the fields of affiliate marketing, search engine
construction and application, and the joys (and
fears!) of e-mail, Affiliate Summit 2004 seminars
were the jewel in the crown for organizers and a
great time was had by all.
In addition, there
was networking a-plenty to be had for anyone interested,
with lots of friendships and acquaintances started
and many more business partnerships formed.
In fact,
James Martell,
one of the leading affiliate marketers in the industry,
was at the Affiliate Summit 2004 and "is definitely
looking forward to attending the Affiliate Summit
2005 in Las Vegas", he said in a recent interview.
He "recommends that
anyone seriously interested in doing some networking
and finding out the industry secrets that the experts
have under their hats should definitely attend this
year. It will definitely be worth it".
Feel free to check
out this short video clip of the Affiliate Summit
2004. It has some great hi-lights from the events
and people that were in attendance, many of whom
began as strangers and left as friends.

Affiliate Summit
2005
If the business side-success
of Affiliate Summit 2004 is kind of marker, then
this year’s
Affiliate Summit 2005
in Las Vegas is going to be another great way to
touch bases with industry experts and professionals.
Last year’s Summit was quickly sold out on business
space, with a broad mix of small, mid-sized, and
monster-sized companies making appearances, truly
something for everyone.
Organizers are again
going with an all-inclusive package for the Summit.
It seems that this is the easiest way to get everyone
together and keep them together so that they can
all benefit from an intimate, friendly environment
where everybody ahs the same goals: to form business
partnerships and forge new friendships within the
industry itself.
But exactly who could
be so interesting and important to get in contact
with that you would pack up and be forced to enjoy
2 days in exciting Las Vegas for?
Well, past companies
that have sent representatives include the 1-800-FLOWERS
chain, A&E Television Networks, NASCAR, The New
York Times, Disneyland Resort, ESPN, and T-Mobile
just to name a few. In fact, in the past 2 years,
over 300 different companies of all shapes and sizes
have become involved in the Affiliate Summits.
With two successful
Summits already completed (both were fast sell-outs
for companies trying to get involved), you can bet
that these companies (and many more!) will be lining
up to take a shot at Affiliate Summit 2005.
These summits are
quickly become a necessary engagement as more and
more companies come on board with affiliate marketing.
Shouldn’t you be here, mingling with all of these
talented and hi-profile industry leaders?
